Pearlescent pigments belong to the class of inorganic pigments. They consist of mica plates coated with thin layers of a film of metal oxides. Pearlescent pigments are chemically and physically stable. This allows them to retain their properties when exposed to alkalis and liquid acids. Pearlescent pigments are absolutely harmless. They do not contain volatile, caustic, combustible, explosive, flammable and psychotropic substances and are even used in the food industry and cosmetics.
Store in a dry and cool place.
Advantages of using pearlescent pigments: Low toxicity (approved for use in cosmetics) Resistant to aggressive environments. High light fastness and weather resistance, no color migration over time. Thermal stability up to 950С. Easily dispersed in any binder.
